I’m Michelle Harris — a single mom of two, pet-mom to Blush (my yorkie) and Bliss (my cat), DIY queen, plant whisperer, and psychological thriller book junkie 📚🔪.

From 2015 onward I built my business while battling anxiety, ADHD, and the chaos of real life — not some curated, Instagram-perfect version. From D.C. to Atlanta, I hustled my way into a life rooted in family, freedom, and legacy. And now, I’m showing wedding photographers how to do the same — with strategy, systems, and a splash of tequila & cheese. 🧀🍸

M Harris Hustlers was born because I know how hard it is to break into this industry without guidance, without representation, and without real strategies that actually work.

Educating and mentoring photographers isn’t just a business for me — it’s personal. Because every time you win, it breaks generational ceilings. And that’s the mission.

From hustler to history maker

MY JOURNEY TIMELINE

Took my first wedding client with no systems, no mentor, and two babies at home. All hustle, no sleep, and a dream too big to quit.

2015

2016

Booked my first $5K+ wedding and started building what would become M Harris Studios. I realized this wasn’t just a side hustle anymore — this was legacy in motion.

2017

Launched Laila Chanel Studios and quietly crossed six figures in 6 months. Started mentoring photographers behind the scenes and felt the pull to do more than just shoot.

Became the first Black female SIGMA Ambassador while launching Master The City Workshops and on my 4th round of Book Brides Bootcamp Group Coaching.

Now leading a nationwide community of photographers who are building profitable, sustainable businesses with clarity, confidence, and speed. We’re not just booking weddings — we’re building empires.
